EARTHDAY.ORG Partners with Global Environment Media (GEM) for Earth Day 2021

Washington, D.C. and Monaco, March 30, 2021 — In preparation for Earth Day 2021, EARTHDAY.ORG today launched a media partnership with Global Environment Media (GEM), the first TV and educational platform dedicated to positive environmental solutions. GEM will carry EARTHDAY.ORG’s “Earth Day Live: Restore Our Earth” digital event on their worldwide cable, satellite and IPTV platforms. EARTHDAY.ORG and GEM share common goals and objectives — a commitment to the conservation, protection, enhancement and support of nature and natural resources and finding solutions to create a more sustainable planet. Together, they are bringing their global communities together to unite in support of the preservation of biodiversity worldwide.

Parallel to the Biden Administration’s global climate summit, EARTHDAY.ORG will produce its second Earth Day Live digital event starting at 12pm Eastern/6pm CET on April 22, 2021. Workshops, panel discussions, and special musical performances will focus on Earth Day’s 2021 theme, “Restore Our Earth,” which examines natural processes, emerging green technologies, and innovative thinking that can restore the world’s ecosystems. World climate leaders, grassroots activists, nonprofit innovators, thought leaders, industry leaders, artists, musicians, influencers, and more will be involved.

“We are thrilled to partner with GEM for our second-annual Earth Day Live digital event to reach more people around the globe,” said Tom Cosgrove, Chief Creative and Content Officer of EARTHDAY.ORG. “Thank you to GEM for joining our efforts to Restore Our Earth and diversify, educate and activate the environmental movement worldwide.”

“It is our aim that GEM brings people of all ages together who are interested in learning about the world they live in through environmental news and information, the latest scientific developments, new technologies, analytics, and education,” said Christian Moore co-founder of GEM.

“Partnering with EARTHDAY.ORG to bring their exciting Earth Day Live programming to viewers across the globe allows another way for people to learn how to build a better future, and find programming that inspires, engages and catalyzes them to positive action,” said Vincent Roger co-founder of GEM.
