Earth Day Network Establishes Vote Earth Action Fund

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Earth Day Network, the global organizer of Earth Day, today established a 501(c)(4) entity, the Vote Earth Action Fund (VEAF). VEAF will work to mobilize voters across the United States to make a plan, turn out at the polls, and Vote Earth.

The new Vote Earth Action Fund backs leaders at the local, state, and federal levels who will fight to restore, conserve and protect the natural world. The Vote Earth Action Fund demands that these officials advocate for renewable energy, work to end environmental injustice, and educate communities on the importance of science and preparedness.

Vote Earth calls on citizens everywhere to use their voting power to ensure we address the climate crisis and combat environmental problems. This November 3rd, these issues are on the ballot and it’s time to make a vital change to our leadership in all levels of government.

It is more important than ever to protect our natural resources from ongoing threats and the failed policies of this administration. Short-sighted decision making is worsening environmental problems, threatening public health, and diminishing our quality of life. The United States needs to face the reality of our climate crisis and hold our elected officials accountable.

In order to restore our earth, the Vote Earth Action Fund will also educate voters on the importance of environmental protections.

“We have created the Vote Earth Action Fund at a critical point in our planet’s health.” said Will Callaway, Executive Director, Vote Earth Action Fund. “The environmental decisions our leaders make today will have a significant impact on future generations.”
