South Dakota
South Dakota adopted the Next Generation Science Standards in 2015 as a means to teach climate change in schools. However, they have done little past this and climate change education has remained stagnant for a number of years. If the state wishes to make forward progress, they need to pass legislation in order to mandate further education.
