Michigan

Michigan has enacted the Next Generations Science Standard which provides a framework for implementing climate change education into schools. Beyond this, House Bill 4961 was introduced which would create an environmental literacy task force. Obviously there is still much to be done, but Michigan seems to be on the right track for instructing their students on climate change

Climate Issues

  • Increasing rainfall
  • Ice cover forming later and melting earlier
