In recent years, Massachusetts has attempted to introduce legislation to bolster the state of climate education in public schools. However, there is still no mandate requiring that the topic be mentioned and they follow their own framework as outlined in the state education standards. Though more is being done, Massachusetts still must take certain steps to be where they need to.
