Earth Day Network Webinar Announcement: Summer Reading for the Environment
June 11, 2013
This Wednesday, Earth Day Network is hosting a webinar on the importance of Summer Reading for the Environment in partnership with the United States Department of Education as part of the Green Strides Webinar Series. The Green Strides Webinar Series provides school communities the tools to reduce their schools’ environmental impact and costs; improve health and wellness; and teach effective environmental education.
Summer reading offers an opportunity for students to continue their educational journey when school is not in session. In this webinar you will hear from EDN Program Directors on our Reading for the Earth campaign and the importance of environmental reading during the summer. We also have an excellent line-up of authors who will speak on environmental reading and their work including Michael T. Barbour, Brooke Bessesen, Linda Newbery, and Land Wilson.
The webinar will begin on Wednesday June 12th at 4:00PM EST. To register visit:https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/6069793816051381760.
