Ohio

Ohio has still not mandated teaching of climate change at any level k-12. Beyond this, they are actively moving backwards by implementing legislation such as Senate Bill 83 which would limit what could be discussed on higher education campuses. Ohio has made little to no progress in terms of climate change education and must alter their ways to prepare their youth

Climate Issues

  • Increased frequency of floods
  • Increased frequency of extremely hot days
  • Warming of water in the great lakes
