Green Cities
Welcome to the Completely Redesigned EarthDay.org
February 4, 2016
Here at the Earth Day Network, our team has been hard at work redesigning our website to provide a better experience for all of our EDN supporters. Not only will this benefit the existing EDN community, but our new website will allow more people to get involved in both local and global environmental action. This redesign is a reflection of our commitment to constant organizational improvement that serves the needs of both the environmental movement and our campaigns. Our cutting edge web design makes navigation more easy and convenient. Here are some features you won’t want to miss.
Campaigns
Getting involved in our campaigns has never been easier. Whether your passion lies in green schools, reforestation, or our international programs, you can engage in our efforts simply by clicking the Campaign tab on our home page. From there, explore several programs and pick and choose based on your interests. We want you to get involved in what you are most passionate about, so here, you can find the tools you need to make a difference. You can also support a cause by donating to EDN using our simple donation portal located on the navigation bar.
Blog
Our new website is chock-full of information about environmental issues facing the world today. From information about climate change science and the #ParisAgreement to updates on the fight to save endangered species, our blog is the best resource to keep informed. Updated with new posts every week, expect to find the latest information about pressing environmental issues here. Under Campaign for Communities blog posts, be inspired by stories about people from around the world taking a stand to make their home a better place. After browsing through our blogs, take action by bringing your inspiration and knowledge back to your community.
Earth Day
Last, but certainly not least, check out the Earth Day tab to learn about what EDN has planned for #EarthDay2016 (think #Trees4Earth). This year kicks off our countdown to 2020 – the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. Big things are happening this April 22nd, so start preparing for the celebration now!
