Press Release

ADVOCATING FOR CLIMATE EDUCATION AT COP 29 IN BAKU/AZERBAIJAN

As the world struggles to deal with the increasing impacts of climate change, EARTHDAY.ORG (EDO) believes that climate education will be a crucial tool in dealing with the challenges that face us now, and in the future.

Climate Education is the key to reaching our climate goals and must be integrated into every school curriculum world wide. Climate education gives students:

● The tools they need to manage climate anxiety
● The information they need to make planet friendly decisions every day.
● Access to resources that give them the facts about the climate crisis and the ability to discern the truth from misinformation.
● Learn the green-skills they will need to work in the green economy

COP 29 in Baku is the last push as we strive to ensure climate education is included in every nation’s Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC). As the global leader in advocating for climate education integration across school curriculums world-wide, EARTHDAY.ORG will be participating in and hosting multiple panels/events and we would be delighted if you attended them.
