Good Energy: Hult Prize 2018 Wrap-Up

EDN’s President, Kathleen Rogers, was on the executive jury for the 9th annual Hult Prize, and was at the 2018 Global Finals and Awards Gala at United Nations Headquarters in New York on September 15.
This year’s Hult Prize chose “Harnessing the Power of Energy to Improve the Lives of 10 million People” as its theme and the six finalists proposed start-up enterprise solutions. The winner was awarded 1 million dollars in start-up capital to realize and scale their enterprise.

SunRice is a rice drying service that aims to reduce rice wastage and empower rice farmers in South East Asia.
