Event Recap: Global Leadership Forum for Earth Day 2020

As we gear up for Earth Day’s 50th Anniversary in 2020, Earth Day Network is partnering with the Smithsonian Institution Earth Optimism team on plans that will help people envision and achieve a positive future. To launch this global initiative and get started on our big plans, we convened a Global Leadership Forum at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History, S.C. Johnson Conference Center on October 10, 2018. Discussed at the forum: a global initiative in partnership with museums, botanical gardens and their research centers to develop exhibits and programs based on each institution’s collections and interests to grow awareness about environmental issues and provide visibility for solutions and success stories.
