Matt joined Earth Day Network in August 2019 as manager of Earth Day Africa. He has a bachelor’s degree in international relations and peace & justice studies from Gettysburg College. Matt served for two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in The Gambia, where he partnered with waste management entrepreneurs, developed environmental education campaigns and worked at his community’s local school. Outside of EDN, Matt enjoys hiking, biking and traveling.
