Tell State Lawmakers: Stop Rollbacks and Promote Renewable Energy

This Earth Day marks 55 years of action to protect our planet — and the fight is more critical than ever. As the theme for Earth Day 2025, Our Power, Our Planet, reminds us, we have the collective power to demand action for our shared home.

We can make strides against climate change by urging state lawmakers to transition away from fossil fuels into renewable energy. Clean energy sources such as solar, wind, hydroelectric, geothermal, and tidal are creating millions of well-paying jobs, lowering energy costs, and boosting local economies. In 2023 alone, over half of the 250,000 new energy jobs in the U.S. were in renewable sectors, proving that clean energy is not only the future — it’s happening now.

Investing in renewables also means cleaner air, healthier communities, and greater energy generation. It reduces our dependence on polluting fossil fuels, protects public health, and strengthens national security.

But we need your voice to make it happen. State lawmakers play an important role in driving the clean energy transition. Urge them to invest in renewable energy and prioritize a healthier, more sustainable future for all.
