Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania’s new science standards align with the NGSS, and even include environmental literacy and sustainability as it’s own domain alongside traditional STEM areas like physical and life sciences. However, underfunding in education is an issue in Pennsylvania and legislation should help ensure that resources are properly allocated to teachers and schools for professional development.
