Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania currently has no standard or framework in place for the purpose of teaching about climate change. In 2020, House Bill 2795 was introduced with the purpose of mandating the teaching of climate change, yet it was struck down and failed to pass. At this point, Pennsylvania is lagging behind most states in terms of climate education and must implement change if they hope to catch up.

Climate Issues

  • Abnormally high river flows
