Mississippi

Mississippi currently has no mandate requiring that anthropogenic climate change be taught in k-12 public schools and there is no current legislation looking to change this anytime soon. Mississippi has a ways to go to ensure that the youth is educated and adequately prepared for our changing world

Climate Issues

  • Rising sea levels and retreating shores
  • Increased intensity of tropical storms and hurricanes
