Faith Outreach

Faith and environmental stewardship are inextricably linked. Incredible goals have been achieved thanks to the tireless work and commitment of thousands of people of faith.

Earth Day Network’s Faith Outreach campaign engages with the global faith community to broaden and diversify the environmental movement and elevate climate action as a moral, religious and justice issue.

The global faith community is a critical voice in overcoming obstacles and integrating environmental issues into political, social and economic agendas. The environmental movement needs the support and energy of faith groups to collectively elevate environmental issues to the top of governments’ agendas.

Earth Day Network has a track record of successfully engaging faith partners world-wide through our education campaigns: organizing interfaith dialogue on climate change between Christian, Jewish and Muslim clergy; working with India’s Sikh community to reduce plastic consumption and waste in their temples; and working with the Vatican.

Earth Day elevates science, promotes action and volunteerism and expands environmental education. Faith leaders and communities can use Earth Day to advance solutions that protect our environment, for us, and for future generations.

Join Earth Day and help us achieve bold goals that make our communities, and planet, more sustainable.
