This Earth Day, over a billion people from 190 countries and from of all backgrounds and generations stood shoulder to shoulder in defense of the only home we share.
With demonstrations, town halls, legislative hearings, protests, rallies, petition drives, massive tree plantings and millions of community cleanups — through actions big and small — once again Earth Day demonstrated our power to steer the course of history, hold governments and leaders accountable and protect our world.
