The Trust for the National Mall is the official non-profit partner of the National Park Service dedicated to making the National Mall the best park in the world. The National Mall is the nation’s premier national park, but it suffers from over 30 years of neglect and dwindling resources. The current deferred maintenance budget exceeds $400 million, and the Trust estimates that the park needs an additional $300 million in visitor improvements.
