What a great event we had yesterday with the Embassy of Finland and the DC Greening Embassies Forum. EDN’s President Kathleen Rogers moderated the “Dialogue on Ending Plastic Pollution: Opportunities for the Public and Private Sectors” with Mark Spalding, President of the Ocean Foundation (read his guest post, adapted from his keynote address); Nate Hurst, Chief Sustainability and Social Impact Officer, HP Inc.; Iina Peltonen, Counselor, Embassy of Finland; Richard Perl, Chief Administrative Officer, TerraCycle; and Tommy Wells, Director, DC Department of Energy and Environment.
