  Press Release EARTH DAY NETWORK INDIA’S AMBASSADOR AND RENOWNED INDIAN MUSICIAN BOMBAY JAYASHRI RAMNATH ON A TOUR OF THE US Earth Day Network India (EDN India), a part of the Earth Day Network Worldwide headquartered in Washington D.C, USA, is honored and delighted to announce internationally renowned Carnatic singer and composer Bombay Jayashri Ramnath as its Ambassador. Award winning Bombay Jayashri is one of the senior most Carnatic singers today, enjoying a unique popularity, transcending genres, languages and nations.  She has also authored books on music, composed music for several shows that are still playing to packed houses, in India and the US, and heads a trust devoted to healing through music. Her collaborations with musicians across the world, including the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, have been hugely acclaimed. Bombay Jayashri was nominated for Best Original Song at the Oscars for Pi’s Lullaby from the film “Life of Pi”.  She lends her voice to songs for films and sings in multiple languages.  Bombay Jayashri has performed at various festivals and venues all across India and in over twenty different countries. She will shortly be beginning her latest tour of the US (March 24th – April 15th) and can be heard in Denver, Dallas, Boston, Austin, Washington, DC, Seattle, Portland, and San Jose.
