Maxime Groen (she/her) is one of the fellows from the Environmental Fellows Program with EARTHDAY.ORG. Maxime is a recent graduate with her master’s of science from the University of Michigan, where she studied environmental justice, focusing her studies on the intersection between climate justice and Indigenous Peoples’ rights. In her free time, Maxime is enjoying getting to know Mni Sota Makoce, a city new to her, along with spending time outdoors, reading, gardening, and needlework.
