Avatar Home Tree Initiative Plants Over 1 Million!

Through the dedication of Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment (TCFHE), Earth Day Network (EDN) and 17 partner organizations around the world, the Avatar Home Tree Initiative has proven a great success, exceeding its original objectives for conservation, sustainable development and environmental awareness. Despite the challenges faced in 2010, including natural disasters and a depressed international economy, 1,006,639 trees were planted on six continents. These tree-planting projects directly involved over 31,000 individuals, immediately benefitting tens of thousands of people, and continuing to benefit the global environment and all its inhabitants.
