Earth Day Network is registering Earth Day events across the U.S. as we gear up to Mobilize the Earth™ on April 22. Check out some of the events that are happening during Earth Day weekend:

St. Louis has mobilized to hold one of the largest Earth Day events in the U.S. this year. More than 30,000 people are expected to attend their 23rd Annual St. Louis Earth Day Festivalon April 22 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.. The event will highlight "Heroes for the Planet: Ordinary People, Extraordinary Acts." There will be activities for everyone including an All Species Parade kicked off by Mayor Francis G. Slay, a recycling extravaganza, and a Green Jobs Fair.

Latinos are mobilizing in Los Angeles at Earth Day Latino, which is taking place at the Los Angeles State Historic Park April 21-22. This free event will feature prominent guest speakers and focus on bringing communities together for environmental education and fun outdoor activities during these two days.

In Portland, Oregon, the Earth and Spirit Councilat the Portland Community College Sylvania Campus is mobilizing by organizing an environmental conference to answer the question, "What gives us hope and heart to keep working for the earth as we face growing challenges?" There will be a wide range of guest speakers and workshops on the challenges the environmental movement faces. 

The city of Malibu, California, has mobilized to host an Earth Day eventon April 22 from 12pm to 3pm.  This free event will be held at the Legacy Park educational node and will feature prominent guest speakers and educational booths focusing on topics such as water quality, water conservation, smart gardening, recycling, and making your home more energy-efficient.
