South Carolina
South Carolina has implemented a framework that teaches climate change to students. However, this is only a framework and there have been no further mandates set in place. Beyond this, the framework was only developed in 2021, and is the sole measure that was taken. Though a step in the right direction, South Carolina must do much more to adequately prepare students in today’s day and age.
