Mangrove Planting in India

Protecting Coastline Inhabitants

Our sponsor supported the planting of one mangrove tree for each unit sold at all its global locations. Mangroves prevent severe floods, act as natural embankments, prevent soil erosion, and provide a nurturing ground for many aquatic species The community relies on this ecosystem for their livelihood including fishing and aquaculture farming.

Cooling Urban Streets in Dallas

Making Downtown More Livable

This project addresses environmental and health problems caused by the urban heat island in Dallas Texas through downtown green space expansion and tree cover. Shading urban streets reduces ground temperatures over 10 degrees and improves quality of life for residents.

Alleviating Poverty in Madagascar

Employing Community Members

To coincide with a new product launch, our donor supported reforestation in Madagascar tied to rehabilitating native lands that had been degraded by sugar cane monoculture. Local nurseries were established that support local employees and provide much-needed income to dozens of local women and men.
