WASHINGTON – Earth Day Network has named Sheila Dennis as Vice President for Major Gifts. Ms. Dennis will oversee the individual major giving program and the foundation giving program. “Sheila’s reputation as a powerful fundraiser for environmental organizations has few equals. She will be a huge asset in meeting Earth Day Network’s goals,” said Kathleen Rogers, president of Earth Day Network. “We couldn’t be more excited to have her on board.” Ms. Dennis brings to Earth Day Network over 27 years of non-profit fundraising experience, primarily in the fields of environment and education.  Since 2007, Ms. Dennis worked for The Wilderness Society, holding positions including Acting Vice President of Development and Membership and Vice President of Individual Giving.
