Alabama
Alabama set standards in place to teach of climate change in middle school classrooms in 2016, however, this has since been reversed and Alabama currently has no mandate to require the teaching of climate change in classrooms. Alabama is consistently one of the worst ranked states for climate education in the country, and their regression perfectly exemplifies why.
