2022 Climate Leadership Gala

On Friday evening, April 22, EARTHDAY.ORG will present the 2022 Climate Leadership Gala at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC.

About this event:

Each year, the Climate Leadership Gala brings together 300 industry leaders from the world of tech, finance, arts, conservation, policy, philanthropy, and more to celebrate climate achievements, track progress, and exchange ideas that lead the path to a post-carbon future.

In the seven years since the 2015 Paris Agreement set ambitious goals for governments to cut global carbon emissions and invest dramatically in climate mitigation solutions, one thing is now clear: government can’t do it alone.

We invite you to join us for this occasion, to come together as a united front for climate action and honor transformative leadership in the environmental movement. Planet Earth needs you, your leadership, your influence, your innovation, and your commitment to act now.

Honorees:

Tom Steyer | Climate Visionary Award
Introduction by Rose McKinney-James, Board of Directors, Energy Foundation

Laura Lane | Women in the Green Economy Award (WAGE)
Introduction by Liz Schrayer, President & CEO., U.S. Global Leadership Coalition
