Our Staff

Bryan Buchanan is the Communications Director for Earth Day Network, overseeing the organization’s external and internal communications strategy, including media relations. Prior to Earth Day Network, Bryan was the press officer for Public Citizen’s Global Trade Watch. Previously, he was an Account Executive on the Environment Team at Fenton Communications, conducting strategic media outreach for major progressive non-profits. He has also worked as an organizer for the Sierra Club and on the policy and lobbying team at the League of Conservation Voters. Bryan holds a bachelor’s degree in politics and cultural anthropology from the University of Virginia and an interdisciplinary master’s degree in social science from the University of Chicago.
