SOS Mata Atlantica

SOS MATA Atlantica Foundation (SMA), a Brazilian non-profit private organization, works for the protection of the Atlantic Forest (Mata Atlantica), which has some of the richest biodiverse ecosystems and is considered one of the forests most threatened with extinction on the planet.  The Atlantic Forest holds the world record for the greatest diversity of tree species per hectare.
