Nature and Environmental Rehabilitation Conservation Organization NERCO

 

               
NERCO stands for Nature and Environmental Rehabilitation Conservation Organization and commonly called NERCO GEMORRA is a nonprofit making organization in Cameroon Founded in 2009.

Devoted to conserving the natural diversity of plant, animal species and their habitats in Cameroon, NERCO develops and implements green science approach, for rehabilitation and conservation of nature and environment. NERCO also uses leading edge biotechnologies for bioremediation and general environmental cleanup.

We organize educational programs for the public about a wide variety of environmental topics including ecological agricultural practices, waste management, natural resource conservation, watershed preservation, and wetland and biodiversity conservation. NERCO carries out research activities to create a balance between recent technologies and the environment.

NERCO also works locally using traditional and cultural methods to improve the social, economic and environmental well being of communities in Cameroon, foster partnerships that will enhance local activities to use environmental improvements that create cleaner, safer planet to live and work. NERCO has disseminated numerous sustainable solutions to solve nature and environmental problems nation wide.

With our intense commitment in rehabilitation and conservation of our environment, making the earth a healthier place for mankind and the future generation, we will like to take part in the 2012 Earth Day. We strongly believe that our efforts can contribute in healing the wounds our mother Earth has sustained due to some human activities. We hope that we can make the Earth a better place for all living things.
