Impulse NGO Network
Impulse works in the North eastern states of India. The earliest projects of this organisation were working with rural women. Its volunteers began working with women living in villages by looking at ways to help them use their traditional skills to create a sustainable livelihood. Over the years, Impulse has won several awards and national and international media coverage for the work it continues to do.
On Earth Day, Impulse will organize an art workshop for prominent local artists and students. The best works produced will be developed into1,000 postcards which will be released by a dignitary and then despatched to prominent citizens. The postcards will carry green messages on them.
