Evergreen Agriculture Tanzania (EAT!)
Evergreen Agriculture Tanzania (EAT!) envisions rural smallholder farmers living well off of their land and a food-secure Tanzania. We help Tanzanians in rural areas to improve their lives through the daily work that they do; farming. The farmers know their needs best. We give them access to information and resources according to their needs. If people grow enough food, to eat and to sell, they can keep their families healthy and afford to educate their children. Evergreen agriculture is agroforestry. By using the right trees, farmers can increase soil fertility and reduce soil erosion thus improving their yields without using industrial fertilizers.
