AMERICAN HIGH SPEED RAIL ALLIANCE

 

The mission of the American High Speed Rail Alliance is to unify all advocacy efforts that promote a comprehensive national high speed rail network.The alliance encourages an understanding, development, technology and deployment of the industries involved in the advancement of a nationwide high speed rail system in the United States.

The alliance is organized to encourage public acceptance of high speed rail transportation; to improve high speed rail service to the public; to gather appropriate industry statistics; to cooperate with government agencies and provide regulators and legislators with non-proprietary information pertaining to the high speed rail industry; to keep members appraised of legislation and developments affecting the industry; and to engage in any other lawful trade association activities as the Board of Directors may direct.

The alliance supports advocacy and understanding of the need for a high speed rail system in the United States; through the collaboration of its members, other organizations, governments, companies, and coalitions to promote the advancement of a high speed rail system and related industries in the United States.

The alliance promotes the implementation of a sustainable, clean and energy efficient high speed rail system.
