American Forests

American Forests, connects, educates and inspires people to protect and restore rural and urban forests. Since 1991, we have planted nearly 40 million trees with our partners, removing tons of carbon from the atmosphere, restoring habitat for wildlife, providing clean air and water for all, and cooling the planet. We also educate people about the societal and environmental benefits of trees and forests, and build public policy coalitions to advocate for sound forest policy. Founded in 1875, American Forests is the oldest national conservation nonprofit in the U.S. Visit us online at www.americanforests.org.
