Ciclovida at American University

Ciclovida: Lifecycle pedals alongside a group of subsistence farmers from Brazil who bicycle over 6,000 miles across the South American continent in search of natural seeds.
This feature-length documentary is made up of moving stories from landless peasants, indigenous communities, and small farmers that expose the devastating effects of industrial agriculture destined for agrofuels.

Join Eco-Sense and AU's Latin American Student Organization for workshops on biofuels, agrofuels, climate change, the Landless Movement in Brazil, and learn how sound and video can be pedal and solar powered. The workshops will take place outside of Ward from 3 pm utnil 5 pm.

The documentary Ciclovia: Lifestyle will be played in Ward 4 from 5 pm until 7:30 pm. Come and help bike- power this film about climate justice and local food movements as well as see speakers and musical performances!
