KidEarth - 13 year old's global warming song turns into international youth movement
KidEarth and its "100 Generations" global warming song, created by California 7th grader Aitan Grossman, is a unique climate awareness campaign that generates a powerful and spirited international youth voice singing out to protect the planet.
School children in Africa, Europe, Asia and North and South America have joined kidEarth in song already. The more kids who sing Aitan's song, the bigger its impact will be as children everywhere raise the world's awareness about climate change.
Aitan's made it easy - the song and its notes, lyrics and instrumental tracks are on kidEarth's website to download for free. Students can use Aitan's words or, he hopes, write their own. Aitan's inviting all who want to be part of the song's international chorus to send him a "100 Generations" music video to post alongside those already up on his kidEarth website.
Since its launch 11 months ago, kidEarth has attracted lots of attention from all corners of the world, making Aitan's idea of creating a HUGE youth voice and global awareness campaign -- by kids for kids -- a reality.
