Youth Speak Out! Climate Change Affects Us All
The lives of the world’s two billion youth are as drastically affected by climate change as anyone else. But as world leaders sit down at the negotiating table at the 16th Conference of the Parties (COP-16) in Cancun, Mexico, it is not clear who is representing these individuals. The Children's Radio Foundation is making tremendous efforts with UNICEF's Unite for Climate initiative to elevate the voice of youth about the effects of climate change. In much of the developing world, radio is the most accessible means of disseminating information and touching the lives of millions of people, particularly on the African continent.
Children’s Radio Foundation has produced a series of radio features and podcasts, highlighting youth voices from Africa where they discuss climate change and how it affects their lives. The young journalists, aged 15-18, mostly from rural Zambia, are passionate environmental activists. Unite for Climate is an online community of young people from around the world, working together to address climate change. Their goal is to empower all youth in all countries.

We working on theme
We working on theme sasrai,
sasrai-Movement promotes prudent and sustainable use and conservation of resources. Its aimed to animate, activate each individual, family, community, institution, organization to combat Climate Change, Global warming, food, fuel and water security, poverty, disaster, waste, ecosystem and biodiversity etc.
Climate change, climate variability and extremes are affecting our food production and will most challenge our food security. Farmers and extension services have been baffled on ways to address this uncertainty, manage crop production and ensure good harvest. Climate change is a global problem, and yet each one of us has the power to make a difference. Even small changes in our daily behavior can help prevent greenhouse gas emissions without affecting our quality of life. In fact, they can help to save our money.
sasrai is an approach. Way to bring each in thinking-we must save our resources for our old age also for our generation. This and appeal to all –let’s we practice sasrai living, be less consuming. Be keen as less as possible consumption. We must present a habitable earth to our next generation who haven’t exploited any resources from earth.
Each volunteer would have deep in heart – habitable earth for next generation ..........

sasrai urges to all - `be environment friendly- sustainable consuming, Eco-efficient’ Try to get each and everybody as subject. We could say `live simple, let’s other simply live.’
sasrai wish to involve each and everybody to think our present global crisis – Climatic impact and adaptation. sasrai believe in contribution of each person, like to have each one as subject and contributor for adaptation. It urges being loving to the future, prudent for next generation. We cannot create hazard for next generation who haven’t commit any sinful act.
We agree present initiative for adaptation needed to be continued at the same time we must get each member of the global community as contributor for mounting problem. sasrai offer the chance to all to be worthy contributor for adaptation.
COP 17 reveal that to tune the businessman or profit maker or money maker is not such a easy matter. Another fact has come out global leader undone in front of money maker. Someone opine leaders are follower of money maker. sasrai doesn’t feel free with blaming. Let’s have significant change in mindset on sasrai living `how much less harming to the nature me and my family’ or `how much less consuming me and my family.’
