Halfway to a billion!

Our campaign to reach A Billion Acts of Green® has now reached the halfway mark.
We've come a long way and still have a ways to go:
Earth Day Network will use Earth Day – April 22, 2012 – as a springboard to reach our goal of one billion environmental actions by the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development in Rio de Janeiro this June, and we are calling upon people everywhere to help make this important milestone a reality.
If you haven't done so already visit act.earthday.org and pledge an act of green or plan an Earth Day 2012 event; yes, those count too!
Some notable contributions to A Billion Acts of Green®:
School Greenings: Earth Day Network has worked to retrofit 40 schools across the globe with green technologies and resources. From installing solar panels to planting school gardens, Earth Day Network helped these schools to significantly reduce their carbon footprints.
Ocean Conservancy: More than 10 million green acts came from the Ocean Conservancy, following their annual International Costal Clean-Up Day, which has seen nearly 9 million volunteers from 152 countries work to clean shores, streams, rivers and the ocean.

Your blog is a great one.
Your blog is a great one. What really impresses me is that you are correctly mentioned that there are thousands of tools that are available to create a website or launch one but what matters is that you choose the right one, the one that gives you all that is actually needed http://www.lovewigs88.com

I applaud your article and you're right - we can all do something and to prove the point I have not only changed to a "water cooler" system in my house(because I don't like my tap water) but I can stop buying the little plastic bottles since the 18 litre jugs are reusable - not great i know but given the circumstances I think I just added another little act of green myself! Keep up the great work everyone!
