Earth Day Network and ForestNation Launch New School Fundraiser

Why should students sell candy bars or wrapping paper for school fundraising when they could sell tree saplings instead? Earth Day Network and ForestNation have teamed up to change school fundraising for the better by encouraging students to sell tree-growing kits. For every tree-growing kit a student sells, ForestNation will match it by planting another tree elsewhere. On top of that, ForestNation will contribute a portion of the proceeds to Earth Day Network’s Canopy Project to plant even more trees. These trees will help communities, especially impoverished communities, sustain themselves and their local economies. Not only is this great fundraising opportunity for schools, but it will also teach students the value of environmental consciousness and sustainability. It is truly a win-win opportunity.
